We are trying to decide which is the better option to purchase: Articulate Storyline or Articulate Studio '13? As we will be developing a number of modules/courses with varying amounts of interactivity, I would think Storyline is the way to go? It appears to allow for more flexibility in the development/design. However, I would like to be able to transform slides into an online course as well. Does Storyline allow for PowerPoint slides to be quickly transformed into courses as Studio does??
You are correct, Storyline gives you a little more flexibility than Studio (having the ability to use Triggers and Layers really opens up a wealth of creative possibilities for you). You can also import PowerPoint slides into Storyline if needed. You should download a free trial of Storyline if you haven't already and take it for a test drive, I think you will find it does everything you need. Good luck!

Hi Jamie and welcome to Heroes!
I also wanted to share this comparison chart that showcases Storyline vs. Studio '13.
