Storyline 2 Flash & HTML5

Hello,
Our company is moving to a new LMS, which does not support Flash courses. We have been told that will impact Storyline 1, 2 and Articulate Studio courses and that these courses will need to be upgraded to Storyline360/3.
I know our Storyline 2 courses included HTML5 output. However, I would like to better understand how Flash/HTML5 output works as I know my Managers question will be why do we need to upgrade the course to s360 when the S2 courses have an HTML5 back-up.

Hi Melissa!
That's an excellent question. Since you've included HTML5 in your published output files, you're in the clear! If you access your published content in a browser without Flash, the output will automatically direct to HTML5.
One more thing: I'd encourage you to take a peek at what we're doing to prepare for the phasing out of Flash in the future.

With this being said....and to be clear...the implication is if someone is on a browser/server that is flash dependent, Flash would still be the primary file played correct?

Yes, you're absolutely right. Flash would still be the primary file played if the content was published with Storyline 2.
