I know there are many threads explaining using JavaScript to get system date but I want to know if this is possible in version published for player on iPad ?

One possible workaround to consider would be to insert a webobject and connect it to an external HTML page that displays the date. Here is a test hat worked in the Mobile Player app on my iPad. In my test, I put the webobject on the master slide, so that it is displayed in the lower left corner on every slide.
