display quiz success for a chapter on main menu

Jul 11, 2016

hi,

i have created multiple chapters (within the one scene) with a quiz at the end of each. On the successful completion of each quiz i would like the main menu slide to have a 'tick' icon next to the chapter title (if the results slide is a 'pass') so that a user can have a visual display that they have completed that chapter.

can someone help me with setting this up?

PS i am new to articulate...

No luck in figuring it out. Attached is the .story file.

the section "Emergency and late changes" and answers for the quiz are False, Change Initiator and False.

As this is a work in progress, my intention is to copy the configuration into the other quiz's once they are complete and then on the home page main menu display the 'congratulation's layer once all chapters are complete.

appreciate your help :)

Hi Marianne!

Thanks for sharing your file and allowing me to take a look. I used the example that you shared here to demonstrate the same thing I shared in the file above.

1. Set up a variable

2. Adjust variable when user reaches what you decide is 'complete' - in this case I used your Result Slide

3. Add state to 'button' to indicate completion

4. Add trigger to adjust state when timeline starts and variable has changed value to indicate completion

Hope this helps!
