DnD multiple correct locations
Jul 23, 2018
Is there a work-around that will allow me to create a drag and drop where two of the answers are interchangeable with their respective targets? I want learners to label a flowchart. All of the drags correspond with a single target except for two. These two can be switched around and the users would still be correct. I have attached the project. The bottom two options in the chart can be either "Discrete" or "Continuous."

Hi there Christopher!
Each drag item can only have one correct drop target when you're using the built in options of Storyline. However, it sounds like you have two drag objects that could be correct in two different drop targets.
You'll have to get creative with that custom set-up, and this similar discussion is a great place to start!
Thank you for the link to the previous discussion Alyssa. My search results were in the hundreds of different posts, etc.
Also, do you know if there are any plans of adding this feature to SL? Having one-to-many options for drag and drop seems to be pretty common.
Hey Christopher!
We currently don't have plans to add this feature to Storyline in the future. However, it's really helpful for us to know how in demand this feature is, so I'm glad you reached out. If this gets added to Storyline in a future release, we'll definitely let you know!
