downloadable file for challenges

Apr 11, 2023

I shared my idea about sliders in ELH #411 with a review link. But I have no webspace available from where a story file could be downloaded by everyone. Can I send you my story file and you place it somewhere and link it to my slider idea?

Best creative wishes.

Hello Ralf,

Thanks for reaching out!

If you edit your response in the E-Learning post, you'll see the button to add an attachment to your response.

You can use this button to include a Storyline 360 course to your post.

Unfortunately, none of us will have access to edit your post, so you'll need to be the one to add the attachment. If you are unable to locate the 'Add Attachment' button, try using a different browser to see if this helps.

Sorry, but there is no “Add Attachment” there. Not in Chrome and not in Firefox:

Hi Ralf,

Thanks for following up! I understand you want to share your content with the people in the E-Learning Challenges forums. It looks like the E-Learning Challenges forums don't have the option to add an attachment to a post. You are going to want to publish your course to Review 360 or to the web and share the link in the forums. It looks like that's what others have done to share their content.

I hope this helps!

Hi John,

I published the review link in the post, and it is visible in the challenge #411 recap. But there was no possibility to attach my story file there. I don’t want to place the story file in my own cloud space, because that can be away in the future, if there will be a change with my cloud service or the company. Can I send the story file to an articulate staff email address and this staff person will put it into an “articulate place” and link it in the homepage for challenge #411 to my review link as downloadable file?

In the past it was a pity, when there were great ideas but the story file was not available. Having the Review link is great, but having the story file is one level higher. That is the reason why I want to offer my story file as well. I saw many download links in the posts that didn’t work anymore, because the cloudspace was gone. That its something I want to avoid and so I had the idea to hand over my story file to you (Articulate) and you can place it somewhere, where it can be stored (hopefully forever) for the community.

Hope my “german english” can express what I mean.

Viele Grüße
Ralf
