Drag and Drop - feedback audio files play inconsistently

Hi, I'm new in town! I've looked around for a solution to this issue, but haven't been able to find the right fix yet. I have a drag and drop (first one!) that has four obscure vocabulary terms (drag items) and four related images (drop areas).

I want the interaction to run like this: When a learner drag/drops a wrong answer, the Incorrect feedback immediately displays and an obnoxious buzzer sound is heard. The learner clicks continue on the feedback slide. The vocabulary term snaps back and the learner can keep trying until the correct response is made (with correct feedback and a chiming bell sound).

I have been able to get ALL of that to work EXCEPT for the media file for the wrong answer feedback. Sometimes it will work, sometimes not. Sometimes it will work the first time I try with a particular vocab term and then only snap with feedback (no sound) the remaining times. I'm attaching the file in case anyone is able to help me crack this.

I cannot recreate the behavior of the incorrect sound not working, but I'd be happy to take another look.

  • Are you seeing this issue during preview or once the content is published?
  • If once published, what format are you publishing to?
  • Is there a specific browser that it's happening in?
