Drag and Drop Help!
Sep 07, 2023
Hi everyone!
I need to build a drag and drop that only allows the user to drag the drag items in the correct order, rather than having every drop target being active to drop into. They wouldn't be able to drop the items out of order, if that makes sense. I have attached an image.
The first five rectangles are active drop targets for the words on the bottom. I need to disable the other four drop targets until the user drops the correct first drag item.

Hi Lyndsie - nothing attached.
If you can share the SL slide that would be super helpful to people to check the setup for you and recommend a solution.
Hello Lyndsie, I believe that the other drop targets cannot be disabled until the initial drag object has been correctly dropped. I'm curious to see if that is possible!!
Hello there, I've created a sample where the other four drop targets will be in hidden state until user drops the correct first drag item. I'm not sure if this will fulfil your requirements Lyndsie Mitter!!
Thank you for the example! I created a 'workaround' so to say. I made each drop target it's own slide, but had the drop items not mapped to anything, so they could still drag them but couldn't drop into the incorrect target. Exactly what I was looking for :)
