I recently noticed an issue with one of my drag and drop interactions. There is audio that plays on the slide, and the learner is allowed to drag the seekbar to skip the audio if they choose. However, if they have already placed some draggable objects onto the drop targets, when they click or drag the seekbar, those placed objects return to their original positions. Does anyone know why this may be occurring or how to preserve the position of these objects while the user scrubs the audio?
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry that you ran into an issue where your drag and drop interaction is resetting when the seekbar is adjusted. We have reported it to our team as a bug, and continue to keep an eye on it to evaluate how many customers are impacted and what impact it has on courses.
Here's some more detail about how we tackle bugs. I'm really sorry that I can't say when this issue will be fixed, but you're in the right place to stay updated on this bug's progress.
This issue is currently in the early stages of our How We Tackle Bugs process. I'll share your post with my team and circle back with any new developments.
If I can be of any help in the meantime, let me know!
While I don't have any updates to share for this bug fix yet, as a workaround, you can remove the seekbar from the drag and drop slide (and you can even leave it on the other ones, if you need to). Here's how:
Right-click the base layer of your drag and drop slide.
Choose Properties.
Under Player features, select Custom for the selected slides.

Hi,
I had the same problem, as a solution:
You can add a new layer and add the audio file to the layer and mark it as allow seeking: yes.
add a new trigger "show layer timeline start"
