I have a drag and drop quiz with nine draggable elements and three drop targets. One of the draggable elements needs to be correct if dropped onto two of the drop targets. I know that I can create a variable set initially to false and change to true if dropped onto the alternative correct target. But it looks like I have to do this for all of the draggable elements in order to have them all assessed on submit. Is there an alternative to this?
I have attached the story with just that slide. The draggable in question is 'Leishmaniasis' and the two correct drop targets are:
The built in drag and drop functionality only allows for a drag item to be correct in one drop target, but I thought I'd point you to this example Becky shared where she created a drag and drop with some triggers to change the state to correct/incorrect.
This solution works fine. However, how would I allow users to drag the elements around if they get an incorrect response? At the moment they can't do this. See attached story.
The drag and drop doesn't automatically reset, so you'd need to set up a "jump to slide" trigger to return to the base layer of the slide and you'll need to track attempts through a custom variable as it'll reset the tries too. There is another example in this thread from Becky.
That doesn't work when not using the standard setup for drag and drop. I'm using manual triggers to manage the drop states and then checking those states on submit. I needed to do this as some of the draggables have more than one correct answer. Story attached.

Hi Ashley
Many thanks for this, I'll test it out.
