I am trying to create a drag and drop exercise in Storyline 360. I have 8 drag items and 4 drop boxes. Each box can have only 2 items. If users try to insert more than two boxes. it should not allow to drag 3 item in the same box.
Thank you so much Tom. You made it so easy, I also have 1 challenge here, 2 draggable items are correct in one drop box. User can drop 2 item anywhere in Box 1 and so on. Is it possible? I am also sharing my file please have a look.
You can certainly have multiple drag items in one dropbox as your .story file demonstrates and it is working correctly.
Tom shared an example of how to make this work with limits, but it is dependent on 1:1 matching.
We do have a feature request that we are tracking for the ability to restrict the number of items that can be dragged onto a drop target. I've added this conversation to the report as we track user requests and so any updates can be shared with you here.
I look forward to other ideas from the community for your design.

Attached is a demo file and tutorial to show how to do something similar.
