drag and drop question review

Jul 24, 2019

Hello Administrator,

I wanted to know if it is possible to review the correct answer of the drag and drop free-form question. I have a question bank with 10 questions of which 2 are drag and drop and when I click review quiz it does not show the correct answer solution for the drag and drop questions. It shows the exact same as I dragged and placed. Could you please assist me on this?

I have attached screenshot.

In the form view on the section that says post-quiz review, type some text 9anything it doesnt matter what).

Now go back to the your slide view and you should see a slide created called post quiz review.

Drag the rectangle that is on there with your text off slide (deleting it can cause odd things to happen). You can now put what ever you want on here to indicate correct and incorrect. I would use the drop correct/incorrect layers and possibly a button to show the correct answer (which could be another layer).

Ensure the slide is set to automatic for when revisiting or this may never work.

Hi!

I have question related to original one. I have made the Post-quiz review layer (I used this video as a helper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvA-0-bBVGQ) to my drag and drop question.

The layer works fine when the user answers incorrect. When he/she clicks the Review Quiz button on Result slide, everything is perfect: Storyline shows nicely the Post-quiz review layer and at the bottom of the slide is banner with text Incorrect on a red background.

The problem appears when user answers correct to the question and he/she clicks the Review Quiz button to check answers. There is still the same Post-quiz review layer and the text Incorrect on a red background.

The best option would be to show user's answer (because it is correct) and not at all this Post-quiz review layer, but I don't know how I do it. The second best option would be just get the banner show text Correct on a green background.

I think I missing some trigger or some setting but I don't know which one. Can you help me with this?

Users have 3 attempts to try correct answer and and draggable objects have set to get back initial state after incorrect attempt (like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dk_dY_hh8lA).

Thanks a lot!

BR,
Heli
