Drag and drop variable

Jun 27, 2020

Hi everyone! I need help regarding drag and drop interaction. On the first slide a user needs to complete drag and drop interaction and the second slide needs to remember a user choice of the previous slide. Is it possible? I know it is possible with text entry reference but since this is a drag and drop interaction I'm not sure if it's possible. This is one of requirements of my client. And also if user wants to go back on the first slide he can choose to reorded that drag and drop interaction. Thank you very much.

It is not possible for a slide to remember something that happened on another slide. However, it is possible for you to tell a slide what happened on another slide. You do that with variables. See the sample for an illustration of how I use a variable named Choice to inform the second slide of what a learner chooses on slide one. Note that you can also use a freeform drag and drop quiz slide to accomplish the same thing. For demo purposes, I didn't because it is faster not to fiddle with all the baggage of a quiz slide.
