Hi I have a drag and drop activity that needs to have the incorrect objects dropped on the hotspot display a "X" for incorrect when dropped. Can this be done so that the "X" moves with the object dropped?
Sure - you can add a dropped incorrect state to your drag items, and that would have the X associated with it. A few thoughts though based on your current set up -
I would look at using individual drag items, not grouped objects. You can color a text box or add text directly into a shape, no need to use both.
You have the current "DD options" set to return an object to the start point if dropped outside a correct target, so that will prohibit the "dropped incorrect" state from being shown.
