Drop-down column width adjustment

Hi,

I am creating a quiz with the drop down where the left part of the page is quite extensive (1-2 sentences) and it need to match the drop down items. I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the width of the left column to accommodate all this text. So far, the drop down section is way larger than the left column which should be visa versa in my case. Thanks a lot!
