After uploading a training course I discovered the need to edit some of the data. Does anyone know the process for editing a project once its been published?
I built the project in Articulate but when I published it a saved copy did not appear in the articulate file like the others. I have the zipped file saved to my desktop but do not know how to open it and get the content back to power point. All previously published trainings have a version in the software except this one.
I'm confused Jasen, what program did you build the course in, Articulate Studio, or Storyline 1 or 2? Did you publish the file, without saving the working file?
I built it in Articulate. With as much time as Ive spent trying to recover it I would have been better off rebuilding it from scratch I think. But with the possibility of this occurring again I thought Id try to learn how to fix it.
Linda is correct and our documentation is as follows:
Published courses can't be edited or reverse-engineered. To edit a published Articulate Storyline course, you'll need to have the original project (*.story) file. If it was published by another developer, please ask them to send you a copy of the project file.
I'm running into the same issue. I'm working in Storyline 3 and saved my project (.story) file many times before publishing and now I'm unable to find the project for additional edits.

Hi Jasen,
Why not just correct your working file and republish it?

If you didn't save the working file, I don't think that there is a way to recover it from the published files.
