I am working on a course and am using the virtual desktop service Amazon Workspace. I keep getting an error when attempting to open the player template function in order to customize the player. Is anyone out there using this virtual desktop service as well and having the same issue?
Articulate desktop-authoring apps aren't currently supported in virtual environments. Have you tried customizing the player from a local profile on your computer? If so, did everything work correctly?
I haven't heard of any plans to support virtual or smart card environments. For Storyline, Studio, Replay, and Peek to work properly, you'll need to create a local profile on your computer.
We do support virtual machines for use on Mac environment. Take a look at the details here.
We use an amazon workspace with out mac computer, we upgraded to a higher performance version to see if it runs faster. The workspace itself is a little slow to load, but it works. You have to install windows and all of your copay's security measures in the amazon workspace similar to an actual computer. But it's easier to obtain right now than trying to order and set up an actual computer.

I have the same problem. Are there any plans to support virtual environments in the future?

Hi,
Does anyone use amazon workspace nowadays to create storyline courses and can update if everything is working?
