Edit review questions slides in Storyline 3

Mar 26, 2024

Hi!

Is it possible to change the spinning icon that shows the correct/incorrect answers, when learner clicks the preview result-button? Also, where the test have text entry interactions and the correct answers show up in preview.

Where do I edit this? I've checked the Form view and Post-quiz-review and the feedback master but I can't find it anywhere.

Another issue, on some slides I've used zoom-in. When post-reviewing the green banner (for correct anwers) at the bottom of the slide disappears. Unfortunalety, the the zoom-in is necessary. Is there some way to make the slide zoom out when previewing or make the banner visible?

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Creater P12,

Thanks for reaching out!

  • Have you attempted to change the cursor style? You can do this by going to the Format tab ribbon and choose a different style from the Cursors gallery.
  • I was unable to replicate this feedback zoom functionality on my end. What type of question slides are you using within your course? Would you mind sharing a screen recording of the behavior when previewing?

Let me know if this helps! We'd be happy to take a closer look at your setup in a support case. We'll be sure to delete the file after testing!

Hi,

Thanks for answering and I'm really sorry for my late response!

Unfortunalety, I'm not allowed to share any material. I've made a screen
recording and converted it to an interactive test for the learner so the
slides don't have a specific question type slide if I understood you
correctly? Some slides are however made into text-entry-interactions. And
yes, I did use feedback master.

In the post-preview to check the correct answers, the green banner
("Correct") shows at the bottom of every slide. But if I made a zoom-in on
a slide, the green banner doesn't show up. Probably because it's "stuck" at
the bottom and the zooming makes it disappear. However, the navigation
buttons are still visible at the bottom. I think due to I checked the box
for Accessibility controls.

Hello C,

It is important to distinguish slide elements from player elements if we're talking about zooming in on sections in the slide. Only slide elements will get zoomed if a zoom-in action is performed on the slide. Player elements like the navigation buttons will be unaffected. It would be helpful if you could share a screenshot of the affected objects you are referring to so we can confirm if this is the behavior you're experiencing.

You can also share your project file by opening a case with our support team here so we can open it privately. We'll delete it when we're done testing.
