In Flash, you can set the corner radius on rounded rectangles. I'm looking for similar functionality and I don't see the option to change the amount of rounding at the corners. Does it exist in SL?
while there's not a field to change it in the "format shape" dialog (ala Flash), you can click/drag the yellow diamond icon on the shape itself and adjust the rounding to your liking. Just an FYI for those, like me, that don't see it.
Changing the curve radius of textboxes would be a great way to create unique shapes in your course! Currently, that feature doesn't exist in Storyline. A feature request has already been submitted for this. I'm going to add your voice to that request. If this request makes it onto our feature roadmap, this conversation will be updated.
Outside of Storyline, you can build your unique shapes in Photoshop or Illustrator and import them as pictures.

Hi Emilio,
Thank you for reaching out!
Another option that I hope will help is to uncheck the Snap to options under the grid and guides menu:
