I have a course that includes multiple scenes (multiple languages). I need to edit text labels such as the Submit button to ensure the label is written in the language of the Scene selected. Is this possible?
That functionality isn't built into Storyline. It could probably be done with JavaScript. (That's not my area of expertise, so I can't help with that.)
With just Storyline, you can switch the Player's Text Labels to another language, but the chosen language will be used throughout the course.
You could use custom navigation buttons on the slides. To prevent too much re-work, add some height to the slides, and put the buttons on the bottom.
However, be aware that the Text Labels also include basic messages, such as the warning given if a user tries to submit a question before selecting a response. So there will always be some text that could appear in the "wrong" language. That's why companies typically use separate files for translations, and then let the user choose a language within the LMS.
