Hi there, I'm wondering if it is possible to edit the title of a Resource once the file has been added? I do not need to alter the file content; I only want to change the title of the resource as it appears to users.
When I click to Edit Resource and make the adjustment, I get the message "File does not exist" when I click SAVE.
No - I have restructured my sub-folders so the exact path is slightly different. Is that the issue?
Just to clarify - I only wanted to change the TITLE - am I accurate in understanding that to do that I essentially have to relink the Resource file as well?
Since you are opening the .story file and editing the title, this is the same as re-publishing the file. So Storyline wants to connect to the file again. If the file is no longer there, you won't be able to change the file name.
Please let me know if you need additional assistance!

Hi, Esther.
Thank you for reaching out!
I get the "File does not exist" error when I try to change the name of the file:
When I change the Title, instead, it works as expected.
Let me know if this is not what you're experiencing!

Hi, Esther.
Is the file still available at that location, or has it been removed?
