Editing Audio Cue Points On the Fly

Dec 05, 2015

Am working on closed captioning via variables and triggers.  What is kind of irritating is that when previewing the slide the audio panel disappears when popped out as an individual panel, making it hard to ID small corrections to placement of the cue points while listening to audio on slide.

Another aspect is clicking away into the triggers panel (or any other) while working.  I would love being able to keep things moving simultaneously without the program having to stop everything else if I click away...really counterproductive.  Any and all the panels should remain active so workflow can progress with minimal delays.

Is there any way to do this with Storyline 2?  A patch or something?

Blessings, Ron

If you are very particular about the placement of cue points, play the audio in a standalone program like Audacity, which gives you very precise control. It will allow you to easily start or stop the audio at any point and will give you the time to .001 of a second. I record all the points where I want audio cues and then set them in SL. SO much faster and accurate.
