I had to update a resource file in the Storyline player. I selected the resource in the player, clicked the edit icon, and selected the updated file. After publishing, I found that the file had not been replaced.
I went through the steps again to ensure I didn't mess up.
I had to delete the original resource and install the updated file. It looks like you can't overwrite a resource file via editing.
(An edit: It just occurred to me that the file names for the old and new resource were the same. Perhaps a new resource file with a different file name would make a difference.)
Just checking in to see if using unique file names for your old and new resources worked for you? If it did not, would you be willing to upload a copy of your project file here or in private through a support case so we can take a look at what's happening?
