Editing Video's in Templates
Jun 05, 2020
This is a really great community! My boss just got me a license to use Articulate. In the media interaction template I would like to use (and hopefully I still can) the learner clicks on the video to the left and it plays to the right. There is one column to the left of three videos, and as you click each, it plays to the right. These are step by step by step videos. So each video would ideally contain their own set of captions. There is one base layer which has three videos on the slide.
I recorded one video and somehow I am not able to edit the video file and replace it with my video file. I have tried locating the file and I can't insert the video clip.
Hope I've explained all of this clearly.
Thank you for any suggestions!

You can go to the media library and replace the video. Here's a tutorial that shows how.
Hi Tom, that is the exact template that I am using. This is a helpful tutorial but I somehow don't have the option to replace the video with the video I recorded. That's where I am stuck.
Do you have the media library?
Yes I do.
Where is the video you recorded?
Thank you so much for all of your help.
When I was on the free trial I inserted my video's right away and published the whole project. This time I wanted to make more use of all of the functionalities. When I click on the arrow for "Record Screen" I see my video come up there but it's not in the media library. What am I doing wriong?
OK...let's see if this makes sense.

Yes it makes sense. I am now able to insert my video - which I actually edited and recorded in Replay because I have to use a specific intro. Now I am figuring out on inserting captions but it only plays the intro and not the rest of the video to insert the captions.
Thank you so much for your help with this!
