Is there a way to delete a section of video e.g. a screen capture? I made a click in error and want to remove a section of video from the middle, rather than re-record the entire thing. I am only seeing instructions to adjust the start and end point. Is there a way to do this?
Hi Steven, You can't edit the middle of a video in Storyline but you can export the movie and edit it using a third party video editor if you have one.
To export select the insert record screen option and then right click on the video - you will then see the export option.
Hi, Im using Demo Builder to edit my videos but it wont let me import and mp4 vidoe which is the format of the Storyline video. Do u have any idea what software I can use to edit the SL videos? Thanks
Hi. I was able to delete part of my screen captures by right-clicking the slide and selecting Action Fine Tuning. I had to do this a lot because I got 'interim' screen shots while the programs or other applications/screens were opening during the recording. Next time I'll remember to hit pause. Here's a link to the article that gave me the answer: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/editing-screen-recordings.aspx. Go to the Step-by-Step slides heading. Hope this helps.
