Editing Vimeo Embed Code

Dec 18, 2015

Hi all. I've inserted an embedded video from Vimeo into Storyline. The video works fine, but now I need to edit the embed code. How do I get back to the embed code to edit it? Or do I have to delete the video and re-insert which opens up the embed code window again?

Hi everyone,

I would like to embed a sign up form in Articulate 360 using the Video from Website box.

<form action="https://www.getdrip.com/forms/279629403/submissions" method="post" data-drip-embedded-form="279629403">
<h3 data-drip-attribute="headline">Sample Title</h3>
<div data-drip-attribute="description"></div>
<div>
<label for="drip-email">Email Address</label><br>

I get an error message "A video cannot be inserted from this embed code. Verify the embed code is correct and then try again."

Is there some other way to do this?

Thanks

Jim

Thank you Michael,

I would like to display it in the current browser window rather than open a new window. When I run it and select that option for the form, the screen goes blank and nothing happens

If I choose to show it in a new browser window it works fine. But then they need to close that window to get back to the course. I would prefer it embedded to keep them on that page.

Thanks,

Jim

Inserting as a web object will embed the form right in your course. If you don't have an actual web page with just the form on it that you can embed, you can copy your html for the form and save it into an index.html file in any folder that you create. Insert the web object by pointing it to that folder. It may appear as just a gray box when viewing in your project, but you should see the form when you publish and view it. I'm having some lunch at the moment, but I'll put together a demo in a few minutes. :)

Jim, I've attached a screen capture video to demonstrate attaching a web object that contains custom html.

1. Create a folder for your web object. I named my folder "form". This folder can be located anywhere.

2. Copy the html used to generate your form, and place it in a file named "index.html", saving that file into the folder you created in step 1.

3. Insert a web object into your Storyline project and choose the folder in step 1 as the location for the web object.

4. You can double-click on the web object to preview it in your project. Re-size the object if needed, save your project and publish.

Please let me know if you need further help. Thanks.
