If you've already published your project file, then yes, you can upload the contents of the published output to your web server. Just be sure you're uploading every folder and file included in the published output folder.
Note that if you need to make changes to your course, you'll need the original .story project file to do so.

I have already published locally and have lost the master story file can i
push it to the web ?
