Another question--when I embed a Microsoft form, I can't resize it. My storyline is 702x406. I've typed those dimensions into the embed code for width and height, but it doesn't do anything. Is there any thing I can do to make this form take up more of the screen real estate?
Jennifer, are you successfully managing to embed the MS form iframe in storyline using a web object? I can only get it to work using the url but then goes out to a new window.
I used a web object and the MS Forms won't show. I just get a grey screen with an error saying Ms forms failed to connect. I even published to scorm and uploaded to LMS to see it since the web object won't preview. File is attached. Can anyone help?
It looks to be a permission limitation, perhaps within your organization. This is the error I see when testing the link you've included in your file without publishing or accessing through Storyline:
My scenario is the following, I need to condition the progress of the course to the user answering the form. once sent, the user will be shown a message and can continue.
Is there a method to verify that the user sent the information?
Mi escenario es el siguiente, Necesito condicionar el avance del curso a que el usuario conteste el formulario. una vez enviado al usuario se le mostrar un mensaje y podrá continuar.
¿existe algún método para verificar que si envió la información el usuario?
Hello there, I attempted to embed the link from my MS Form into Storyline via Web Object (opting to use the default 'display in slide). I've inserted as a SL interaction in Rise, however the error I receive is:
formsoffice.com. refused to connect.
I have uploaded my SL file, hopefully I've overlooked something?
Here's what I see when I publish your Storyline 360 course with the embedded form and embed it in a Rise 360 course.
You can use this link to see if you will get the same results as I did. If the form doesn't load properly for you, try reaching out to your IT staff to see if there are any networks restrictions put in place that might prevent you from connecting to the link.
Also, just a note that 'formsoffice.com' is different from 'forms.office.com'. The correct one is the latter, so kindly check as well if you have the correct links added to your courses.

I found that if you make the object too small in Storyline using the url it goes to a new window. Bigger object box works fine.

Hi Amber,
It looks to be a permission limitation, perhaps within your organization. This is the error I see when testing the link you've included in your file without publishing or accessing through Storyline:
hmmmm...... ok I'll start with our IT people... thank you!
For your web object, use this link instead.

Hey! Thank you! That worked. What did you do to get that link? Why did that work and my link not work?
never mind I see.... I was sent a link to the working form, not the share link. Gotta use the share link.
The link that you provided was to the DesignPage of your form. It should have been the ResponsePage.

Just saw Russel's reply to Amber.
I modified my course using the response link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/DesignPageV2.aspx?origin=NeoPortalPage&subpage=design&id=OTOoCOeQv0mQdZV8zVYb8YvVvwXQI6NBsrIGlM383o9UMDk2N1FJTkRWWlRINkpXR1o2T1IwR01TUi4u&analysis=true
Same result... attaching for some assistance. I don't know how to work around it.
Hi Marcus,
Happy to help!
Here's what I see when I publish your Storyline 360 course with the embedded form and embed it in a Rise 360 course.
