I have a text entry field for user input. If they have something they want to paste into the field, they can't right-click then choose 'Paste". Ctrl V works, but I'd also like them to be able right click Paste since thats what some users are used to.
I publish in HTML5. Currently right clicking does nothing
Storyline doesn't allow for the normal copy/paste mechanisms you're used to, so you will only be able to use the Ctrl V option as you've determined. You're welcome to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request here with our product development team.
Hello, I came across the same issue... I know it's been a few years so I am wondering if there is now a right-click and paste feature available for text entry questions.... by the way, the HTML suggestion won't work for me as I don't think I know how to do that. Thanks!

Requested. Thanks
Thanks Ben for sending along the request and please let us know if you need anything else.
Hi Ben,
you can open your file "story_html5.html" in a TextEditor (Editor or Notepad) and change the line "player.allowRightClick" to "true"!
Perfect, thanks!

Hi Moses!
Thanks for checking in! We don't currently have a right-click and paste feature available for text entry questions in Storyline.
I'm not familiar with the HTML workaround so I hope one of our community members will jump in to assist!
