I'm having problems with my Engage interactions in my published Storyline file. I can publish to CD and everything works correctly, but that's the only output format that's working. The Engage interactions import without any problems, so I'm wondering what else the issue could be. Please help! Thanks!
Thanks for the information about publishing to CD - that's helpful! How are you viewing the course when you use the other publish methods? If you're viewing it locally, this may be why the interaction isn't working. If you view published Storyline content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.
To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published. Please review this article for details.
If you have uploaded the content to a web server or LMS for testing, can you tell me what web browser you're using to view the content?
I was having the same problem - I was running the published files locally and the engage interactions were not working. Maddening!! Why doesn't Articulate make this clear somewhere?
