Enter key adding line to TextEntry box with wrong answer

Hey e-learning folx!
I am having some issues with a TextEntry Box. When I test it with a WRONG answer AND use the Enter key. It will take me to my "Try Again" layer (which is intended behavior), but then when it brings you lack to the slide, the curser lands on a new line.
I go and edit my answer, and the extra line stays, and now even with a correct answer, that extra line made will make my answer wrong. And with each wrong answer, and additional line is made. So, unless the user catches this and deletes the extra line, they will keep getting a wrong answer.
My question... How can I prevent this extra line from being added? Or is there a make-shift work-around solution by 1) by adding a trigger to deactivate the Enter key, or 2) Adding a trigger to clear the box in it's entirety? (not ideal).
Any solutions?

I'm happy to help! I understand that you have a text entry field on a question slide with feedback layers. It sounds like when you answer incorrect and return to the slide after the "Try Again" layer, the cursor lands on a new line rather than the line where the answer was typed.
I've tested this on my end and am finding the same behavior. Here's my test.
