I am experiencing the same issue. Do you maybe have a reply on the problem stated above? It gives the issue to projects that was published before as well.
I can confirm that I am using the latest update of Storyline 2.
It only happens when I publish to LMS.
I am publishing to a local drive.
I did try importing the file into a new.story file
Before I uninstall (repair) Storyline I would like to know whether the software is compatible with Windows 10? An upgrade was done on my computer recently from Windows 7 to 10. I have never had this issue before so is it a software problem?
Attached is the file I currently would like to publish, but like I said, it gives the same issue to previously designed projects as well.
Do you run into this error message when you publish any project for LMS, or just this project in particular?
I see you also opened a case with our Support Engineers (great idea!). You'll be in good hands there. You should hear back from the team soon, but in the meantime, I attached the SCORM 2004 output from your file so you can begin testing in your LMS.
Hello I'm experiencing the same problem and it's only on one module I'm doing the other modules work just fine when publishing, I tried saving the file under a different name but that also didn't work, I tried all the things you have mentioned and none of them worked, is there a fix to this?
Hey there, Collins. Can you preview the entire project? Sometimes if there's a broken piece in there, it won't let you preview or publish. If you find that you can't preview either, start looking scene by scene, and slide by slide. When you find the slide that won't preview, you can cut individual objects, preview and then undo. I do that until the slide previews, and then I know I've found the culprit.
Of course, we're happy to help. Send your .story file along by attaching it here or sharing it with our team!

Hi Katrina,
Sorry you've run into this error - it's also pretty vague, I know!
Some of the causes or ways around this type of error I'd want you to try:
Let me know if you can check into those and are still having an issue. If so, can you share a copy of the .story file?

Thanks for reaching out and for including those details, Alison!
Windows 10 is compatible with Storyline 2, so no problems there. 🙂
