I am using Articulate Storyline 360 on a Mac (running Parallels). I am using the Player to attach Resources. But it won’t actually attach them. I keep getting an Articulate Storyline Error Report: "We're sorry, something went wrong with Articulate Storyline and it might close." Has anyone run into this problem when using a Mac? And is there a workaround?
You came to the right place for help, and I'm so sorry you're running into that error. We'll help you get to the bottom of this!
To help us dig deeper:
Are you working on a local hard drive (typically the C: drive)? Working on a network drive or an external USB drive can cause wonky behavior like what you're experiencing, so I'd like to rule this out as the culprit.
Thank you so much for responding!! I am working on a Mac laptop and using the Parallels software to allow me to use Storyline. I have been using a Mac for many years and am a little unsure about the processes on a PC. I will check when I'm in the Parallels side of things and see if its on the C drive. I'll get back to you soon.
I'm so happy to hear that you are also on a Mac laptop. That way we can compare apples to apples! I'll check out the article you referenced. Thanks again!
Great news! I was able to see that I was accessing my files on the network drive (on the Mac). I copied my files over to the PC: C drive and it worked! I was able to attach the Resource file. Thank you so much!!
I would like to learn the basics of Articulate 360 and then move on to intermediate and possibly on to advanced. What tutorials do you suggest would be the best place to start?

Could you try importing your slides into a new project, and let me know if you still see that error?

Sounds like a plan, Carol. I'll be here!
Oh, and I'm also running Parallels on a Mac laptop! Here's a quick Peek on how to check if you're saving and publishing your Storyline projects on a local hard drive. 😊
