So I am using Story Line 3 (updated 5: 3.5.16548.0)
I have placed all my video's into each slide in the same size and position so it flows nicely. However should I use a Zoom Region on a video slide it suddenly resizes the height of the video to the bottom of the screen.
I only need to zoom in and out to highlight an area during the video.
Is this a bug? Have I missed something?

From those images it wasn't clear to me the resizing that you mentioned, so I'm not sure exactly what you've run into.
