Evaluation Feedback
Mar 06, 2014
I have a number of SCORM courses which have been running successfully for a few months. We have now decided we would like to add an Evaluation to each course, so we can monitor how the course is being received and make improvements as time progresses.
I have created the Question Bank for the Evaluation, but how can the IM&T department pull this feedback from the answers given in a report?
An answer on this would be greatfully apreciated.

Hi Ellen,
Where are you hosting your courses? Storyline is designed be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own Learning Management System (LMS).
Any LMS that is compliant with SCORM, AICC, or Tin Can API will also provide accurate tracking capabilities, so you'll want to check with your LMS on how to pull reports and see user's answers.
Tracking results in a text file or database is not supported. If you'd like to track your Storyline content without an LMS, we recommend consulting the community forums to see how others may have handled similar situations.
Google Forms can be used effectively for this. Create the form (basically a series of questions), grab the share/embed code and paste it into your slide as a web object.
From within Google, e.g Drive, call up the form data in spreadsheet format and away you go ... it displays just like any normal spreadsheet.
Thanks Ashley, we are using a SCORM compliant LMS, but looks like it does not support the functionality to pull data apart from actual Quiz pass/failure info. Very frustrating.
I am currently testing other options.
Thanks.
Hi Ellen,
You may want to also share what LMS you're using here in case anyone else has run across a similar problem with that LMS and could share here. Also, it's worth noting this is the quiz data that Storyline will send to your LMS.
