I have downloaded the evaluation version of StoryLine 2 -- the About section identifies it as update 4. I see there is an update 8 available. Can I somehow apply the latest update to the evaluation version (I would like to evaluate the latest version).
Evaluating a version four updates out of date seems less than useful -- perhaps counter productive.
Update 4 is the latest public release. Where are you seeing update 8 is available?
Under the help tab, you can check for and install the latest updates for the eval or full version of Storyline by selecting Check for Updates. The trial behaves the same way as the full version in every respect. It will just stop working after 30 days.
Hmm.. interesting. Hadn't noticed the difference when I was on a trial. You can check for and download the latest update here even if you've got the trial installed.

At first glance it is not all obvious - sorry for the confusion.
I don't see a Check for Update. That is why I was looking online. Where is this link?
In the Help Tab of Storyline 2:
In the Evaluation version that is a "Buy Now" button and the "Deactivate" is an "Activate" button.
