Exit Animation on Slide

Dec 09, 2021

Good day all,

I will like to ask if it is possible to use exit animation on a text box in my slide.

I want the text box to appear for a short period within the timeline and go off before the timeline ends in Storyline 360. Very similar to what I will achieve with animation pane in PowerPoint.

Can this be achieved using exit animation. If yes, how can I go about it.

I will appreciate your feedback and assistance.

Thank you all.

Hi, Kome, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! ✨

Thank you for reaching out!

Yes, you can add an exit animation to a textbox and also only display it during a specific time. Here's how:

  • Adjust the timing of the object (textbox) on the timeline. In the example below, it will appear from 2 seconds and disappear at 4 seconds:

  • On the ribbon, under Animation, choose the Exit Animation effect you'd like to see. You can also select an Entrance Animation:

This is what it will look like in Preview:

I hope this helps!
