exit button

When course is published to an LMS, the exit button at the end of the course doesn't work. Any suggestions to causes or work-arounds.

Hey, David.

It depends on how your specific LMS receives and interprets Storyline's call to close the course. An LMS may only recognize its own integrated "Close Course" action, so it may be worth reaching out to your provider to learn how it receives calls to exit a course.

Alternatively, the JavaScript can be altered, and this Support page documents how to adjust the script in the lms.js output file.

Hey David. We have experienced this issue too. What we discovered is that our browser and network security prevents the published files from being able to access offsite links or URLs, and there really is no workaround for that, other than getting your IT folks to change the global browser security settings and scripts. Articulate has no control over what your worksite does in terms of network security. What I can tell you is that in a clean environment free of this, that the links and exit button should work. Since everything seems to run fine for you when you publish to an offsite LMS, like the Articulate one, that it kind of confirms that the issue is probably on your intranet.
