Exit course then revisit on LMS

Mar 17, 2016

Hi Heroes,

I have a question regarding the exit course trigger.

For example, we have a course on LMS and we have an exit button with the exit course trigger on the courseware.

Technically, once the user clicks on the exit button, it exits the course on LMS.

But what if the user would revisit the course on LMS (because he wants to review topics)? Would the user restart the whole course? Or the user would be directed to the last page with the exit button?

Hi Luis!

The Resume feature in Articulate Storyline controls how learners will experience your course if it's viewed more than once. See this tutorial for details.

You may find that the resume feature in Articulate Storyline doesn't work as you'd expect after you've met the completion requirement—either by viewing the required number of slides or by passing a quiz. Most LMSs consider a course to be in review mode after the tracking requirement has been met. In review mode, resume data is no longer sent to the LMS, which prevents learners from accidentally changing their course status from complete back to incomplete. See this article for more information.
