Instead of using the player, is it then possible to create a range of special buttons that appear on all the slides? I know it is possible to create a play/pause button but what about fast forward and fast backward? Is that possible?
I am a Captivate user switching a bit to Storyline now. In Captivate FF speeds up the course by 50%. The customer is used to Captivate and is asking for a similar button in the Storyline course - if possible.
Does anyone have a solution for fast forward and rewind buttons? I'm looking to create some that move forward or backward through the main timeline, like a DVD player. The built-in seekbar is NOT what I'm looking for, as the client wants custom designed buttons for this. Thanks!

Rene - what exactly do you want these buttons to do?
Do you want, for example, the FF button to scroll, rapidly, through the slides/Base Layers?

There is no option in Storyline to jump to a certain location on the timeline, so FF and Rewind buttons cannot be created with triggers.
