(Feature Request) Add Google Analytics ID field at publish level

Apr 16, 2020

Hello,

I've been using Articulate Storyline for probably half a year at this point and I'm enjoying it so far (and I'm sure the rest of the team I work with does too!). For research purposes, we use Google Analytics to track the flow of the users while using our modules, so I've been copy & paste-ing the Analytics code in each and every presentation. It was fine when I only had 4 of them and free access to the FTP. Now that I don't have those privileges(more than 4 modules to manage and no FTP access because we moved to new, but private, servers), I wish adding the codes was easier. I looked into ways to add the code from the software, which is currently not possible. It would be nice to have a field in the publish settings that allows to add an Analytics ID, which adds the code in the main HTML5 file when published. Is this possible? Should I toss a coin into the Articulate wishing well for this feature?

Thanks!

Hello there, Constanza!

I appreciate you taking the time to help us understand your use case so that we can take this request under consideration. Thanks for sending in an official Feature Request, too!

We'll let you know if we add an analytics ability directly within Storyline 360. In the meantime, check out these discussions for some thoughts from the community!
