Feedback for Drag and Drop Quiz

Apr 21, 2016

Hello ! I am new with Storyline and I am about to build my first Drag and Drop Quiz. I am considering to use the Template with the Dusbin on the one side for the wrong answers and the Drawer  on the other side for the correct answers. I will propose 8 draggable objects.

Question 1 : Do you recommand to show the Feedback once all the objects have been dropped ? Or should I built a Feedback layer for each object ?

Question 2 : Do you recommand to use the Template that is proposed by Storyline or would it be better if I built this screen by my self ? The idea here is to choose the images for each object. Is it easy to change when usind the template ?

Hi Caroline,

I think it's totally up to you and how you want the user experience to occur. Personally I'd want to see feedback at the end to confirm I did them all correctly at once vs. seeing feedback after each drop and interrupting my thought process. Granted I say all this as just a regular individual and not an instructional designer - so you may want to post this in the Building Better Courses side of the forums where folks tend to reach out for more specifics on design and how to.

Hi Ashley.
Thank you for your answer and piece of advice. I would also prefer to see
feedback at the end of the quiz if I was the learner.
Il will post my question in the Building Better courses side of the forum.
I am new here and haven't yet noticed it.
