Feedback on Drag and Drop
May 09, 2013
Hi Folks
I was wondering if anyone has had a lot of experience with the Drag and Drop slides- I'm currently working on a package for one of our tutors and it's a series of objects you can grab and drop in to one of 2 boxes. I've got everything set up in terms of correct/incorrect options but this is where I'm starting to experience problems-
When I get to the end of the quiz I can view my feedback and under 'allow user to review quiz' I've ticked 'Show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing'. The only problem I'm experiencing here is that it's only saying if I got the entire slide correct/incorrect, rather than the individual elements that make up the mark.
What I'm after is the ability to show 'out of the 6 drag and drop objects you got 4 correct' so each individual object shows. Is this at all possible?
Many thanks!

Hi Paul,
Welcome to the community .
Take a look at this thread where Steve Flowers has provided a solution. It involves Java Script, but I believe it's the only way to achieve what you're after currently with D&D in Storyline.
You'll see that the question involves: "...To pass this 'quiz', I require that at least 8 out of 10 of the items be dropped correctly..."
Hi Rebecca
Many thanks for your response- I've since been playing with some of the excellent templates on the site and they've helped figured out what I'm after- it involves editing states in a 'drop correct/incorrect' setting and it works a treat. Thankyou! =)
