Why would correct fill in the blank questions be marked as incorrect? This is happening frequently for my students. I warned them about extra spaces, etc but they say they are being careful and still it is being marked incorrect. Since they can't go on until they get it correct (which I do not want to give up) , this is causing a problem.
It is happening when they try to fill in the blank to write organelle in the quizzes, but I had some complaints whenever I used fill in the blank questions. Thank you for looking into this.
I’ll ask about the browsers. I purposely chose a fill in question as it is more in line with the tasks they will be expected to do. I only use this option for vocabulary they struggle with and it seems to help (maybe because they have to keep inputting it so many times). It would be great to have as a challenging but not frustrating and defeating option. I’ll investigate further.
Sorry - getting back to you late. Due to the snow days, a whole week went by before I saw the students again and they were unclear on which browser they used. It did however happen to me once.
Thanks for circling back! If you run into this again, let us know which browser and version you were using when it happened. Then we can test it in the same environment and let you know what we find. 🙂

Can you share a sample slide where it's happening Robin

Hi Robin
it seems to be setup correctly and is working fine for me and I'm using Chrome. Can you isolate the users to a specific browser where it is happening.
Not a solution to the issue but would a word Bank quiz type slide give you less headaches

Hi Robin,
The fill-in-the-blank interaction is working correctly for me, as well.
Keep us posted on what you find out regarding the browser. We'll be here if you need more help!
