fill in the blanks created since Storyline 2 are not working
Mar 31, 2015
My courses are based on Linux . When I created fill in the blanks using Storyline 1 I had no problems.
Any fill ins I have created in Storyline 2 are not working. The software will not accept any of the acceptable answers if they are complex. (Fill ins converted from Storyline 1 are working)
Here are samples of the answers.
ps -o %pc
ps -0 %p -o %c
ls -ild /etc
ls -al .bashrc .bash_profile
Tech support told me it was because of the hyphen I am using. I tested the octal codes coming out of the keyboard and used three other keboards and the situation did not change. Also all the fill ins created with Storyline 1 work
I do not know how to troubleshoot this. If someone has any ideas i could really use the help
I have found that hyphen changes.
If the answer is ls -ld the answer works
If the answer is ls -ld /etc the answer does not work. What i have observed is the hyphen changes from a short hyphen to a longer hyphen once I add the second space in acceptable answers.
The answer ls -ld/etc works.

Hello Sandor,
I just wanted to point out that Linux is not a supported system for authoring content in Storyline 2. See here for details. However, I do see that there is an open case for you with support that has been sent to our QA team for review.
