Fill & Stroke Color Editing for SVG Files! Why is this still not an option in SL360???

Jan 11, 2024

Being able to change the fill and/or stroke color of a scalable vector graphic (SVG file), is one of the most primary reasons for using them (aside from infinite scalability reduced file size). So why is this most important and basic functionality still not available in SL360? Even Microsoft PowerPoint provides the ability to modify fill and stroke colors on SVG files. Just trying to understand why this essential feature was overlooked (or excluded) from SL360? And when is this going to be fixed?

Hello Greg,

Happy to help!

Storyline 360's primary function isn't for image editing, so it might not have certain features that are present in dedicated image editing software. However, you can use the media library to open images in your preferred third-party editor, and then save your changes directly to Storyline 360. Here's how. You can check out this article for more information on SVG support in Storyline 360:

Hope this helps!
