I'm having an issue where a font is not being embedded in the published file of the module when the text box includes a reference to a text based variable.
The text box is "Welcome to this module %username%"
The issue is only happening on machines where the font is not installed, the font is embedding fine when there is no reference included in the text box.
Does anyone know why this is happening, or any idea of how it may be fixed?

Just to add, I'm not using html5 or mobile output.
This is a known is and at the moment is expected behaviour
