Forced Scrolling on Long Quiz Questions
Feb 17, 2020
Hi.
I am primarily using Storyline 3 to build courses. However, my company has quite a few courses we are still using that were built in Articulate Studio 13, that I haven't yet had the time to convert/rebuild in Storyline 3. We occasionally hear from employees that certain quiz questions require them to scroll even though they can see all of the answers. This sometimes causes issues with completing the quiz. Doing some research, I recently learned that you can disable the forced scrolling in Quizmaker 13. However, I have been unable to find the same option in Storyline 3. So, here's my actual question... Is forced scrolling an issue in Storyline 3, and if so, is there a similar option for disabling it? Unfortunately, I haven't paid attention to whether the complaints we get from employees are exclusively about the courses built in Studio 13, or if the same issue occurs with any of the Storyline 3 courses. So, it is quite possible that the issue they are having doesn't occur in Storyline 3.
Thanks!

Hi Ryan!
Would you mind providing a screenshot of what your users are seeing?
Your users shouldn't have any issues viewing a quiz question, or even being forced to scroll.
If you wouldn't mind also sharing your file, you can attach it to this discussion.
Hi Lauren,
Thanks. On further testing, I think the issues we are having are only on older courses that were built with Articulate Studio '13, and Quizmaker '13. I can turn the scrolling off for those. Plus we are in the process of redoing all of those courses in Storyline 3. So I think this is a non-issue at this point.
Thanks,
Ryan Pickett
Thanks for the update, Ryan.

Thanks Leslie.
I actually saw that, but was having an internet issue that would not allow me to edit it. It is fixed now.
