FR: Adding enabled/disabled buttons beside triggers in the pane
May 15, 2012
I can't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere so thought I'd throw it in as a feature request. IMO it would be darn useful to have the choice of enabling/disabling triggers (just like show/hide layers in PS or GIMP etc).
Here's why: let's say you're working on a complicated slide/scene and have to keep adding/removing triggers throughout testing. The problem here is that you're having to remove triggers that you might end up having to immediately add back - and you've then got to remember what the trigger did and how any associated conditions worked etc. This does become a pain IMO. Would be much easier if you could simple uncheck a box beside that trigger to have it disabled. When everything's working as it should you have the choice of cleaning up any you want to remove permanently.
A good idea?

That sounds like a great idea Simon - would be great for troubleshooting, experimenting, determining whether trigger order matters, etc.
Storyline is amazing now - can you imagine what future versions will be able to do!?
