Freeform drag n' drop

Oct 19, 2015

I'm using a freeform drag and drop and would like to use a custom validate button instead of the submit button. When custom button is clicked and all images and dropped on correct targets I would like a custom layer to display and so on. Which question settings should I be using to override the master feedback layers?

So far I've tried creating a new layer and a trigger as follows:

Show layer x when user clicks validate button with conditions that each image (shape) equals to drop correct.  Which doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi Margharita:

Can you share this one slide with us or even a screen shot?

There is a few ways to make this work, but I'm unsure from your description what you have started to create.

Happy to look and see what's up.

I'm wondering if you are (or even need to) ensure the state of your images change to "drop correct" when dragged into the correct position.  Or if you might be missing some statements in your trigger.  Just a little tricky to tell without looking at your slide directly.

HI Margharita,

Thanks for sharing your file here. I took a look and since you weren't using the built in layers I think it was over complicating things. I set it up to use those layers, plus your incomplete layer based on the user not dropping them correctly.

Take a look and see if this gets you closer to what you'd like to set up.
